The federal administration – one of the largest employers in the country – has an exemplary role in combating discrimination and promoting diversity among its staff. That’s why FPS Policy and Support & FPS Employment organised a day of inspiration about discrimination, initiated by Petra De Sutter and Sarah Schlitz. Our advocacy manager Elisabeth Verniers was invited on a panel alongside Sébastien François of Unia to talk about the reasons why people of foreign origin are underrepresented in public institutions, and to propose specific pathways for improvement.
