About this duo
‍
Tyson, a 23-year-old Belgian-Rwandan, arrived in Belgium in 2004 with his aunt and his cousins. After his CESS, he studied law in Brussels, but he soon realized that he wanted to start his own project and work for himself. He left the CPAS to look for a food job and launch his project: importing and marketing Fairtrade organic Baobab juice from Senegal.
‍
Her mentor, Martine, 63, has a degree in psychology and is self-employed.
‍
“We got on with each other right away!”
‍
Supported by Martine, Tyson is following the entrepreneur training offered in collaboration by DUO for a JOB and Youthstart. He multiplies “network” meetings and participates in a filmed interview simulation.
Tyson got married (and Martine was his witness!). He now works in an organic store and is taking evening courses in business management so he can one day get started!

Tyson shares:
‍
“The strength of “DUO for a JOB” is to have focused on people! The experience of the mentors and the will of the mentees. I have learned a lot on a human and professional level. There is so much that I have experienced in a very short time that I cannot list them all, but I will mainly mention 3: My mentor who is a truly exceptional person. Then, all the other meetings for the realization of my project. And finally, my life project is very clear in my head. I know where I'm going to go.”
