The majority of young people followed by DUO for a JOB have little or no network relevant to their job search. And yet, the impact of a network in the job search is major. Depending on the source, 50 to 80% of vacancies on the job market remain hidden: they are never advertised! Against this backdrop, the introduction of a mentor from the industry not only enables the mentee to benefit from his/her mentor's informal network, but also to become aware of the importance of developing and maintaining one's own network.
