What we do
DUO for a JOB puts young job seekers from migrant backgrounds in contact with volunteers that are over the age of 50, and from the same professional sector, so that the latter can support them in their job search.
Once paired, the young person and his mentor meet for 2 hours a week for 6 months.
DUO for a JOB offers its services to young people and potential mentors in many cities in Belgium.
Donating to DUO for a JOB is the easiest way to help us. Whatever the amount you pay to our association, punctually or on a regular basis, the money will be allocated in priority to operational costs. More than 75% of our employees perform their duties full-time for the setting-up and monitoring of duos, the development of job search tools, the coaching of new mentors, etc.
Effectively?
The Friends of DUO for a JOB Fund was created on the initiative of our philanthropic friends. It is managed by the King Baudouin Foundation and aims to support the Non-Profit Organisation’s projects.
To make a donation: please pay into the King Baudouin Foundation account BE10 0000 0000 0404 with the following structured communication: +++017/0460/00057+++
or make an online donation by clicking on one of the buttons below:
Did you know ?
Donations greater than €40 per annum made to the King Baudouin Foundation benefit from a tax reduction of 45% of the amount actually paid (art. 145/33 CIR).
The other good news? You will have to do (almost) nothing to benefit from this tax reduction. When the annual total of your donations reaches €40 or more, you will automatically receive your tax certificate in March of the following year so that you can complete your tax return without any problems.
