    Our impact

    DUO for a JOB’s impact exists on three levels: that of the young people we support, of the mentors we train and of the creation of the social bonds we foster.

    Thanks to the personalised support of their mentor, a majority of young people have easier access to the job market. Thanks to mentoring, they develop skills that will be useful throughout their lives: autonomy, self-confidence, knowledge of the resources and channels needed to look for work, etc.

    Mentors find real satisfaction in developing new skills and in volunteering in active citizenship. Being able to pass on their knowledge allows them to feel useful and to live an enriching human adventure.

    And how many prejudices are overcome?

    Openness, trust, respect, generosity, tolerance, discovery of another culture… These are all values that bring our mentors and mentees together; they in turn can share in helping the seeds of “living together” take root throughout Belgium!
