Receptionnist for our meeting space - DUO for a JOB Brussels
💡 DUO for a JOB in a nutshell...
DUO for a JOB is a non-profit organisation founded in November 2012. We propose intergenerational mentoring (coaching) by putting young people from immigrant background (mentees) in touch with professionals over the age of 50 (mentors) who advise and support them in their job search.  Through this mission, DUO for a JOB aims to reduce inequalities in access to the labour market for young people from immigrant background, to promote greater appreciation of our senior citizens, to encourage diversity and intergenerational activities, and finally, to tackle xenophobia by recreating social ties and local solidarity.  Our organisation is active in Brussels, Liège, Charleroi, Antwerp, Ghent, but also in France and The Netherlands. The entire team consists of 100 people. DUO for a JOB Brussels can rely on 600 mentors, creates every year around 500 duos and works with a community of 40 volunteers (in addition to the mentors).
