Graphic Design & Communication Intern

DUO for a JOB is an association created in 2013 in Brussels, which offers a mentoring program and connects young job seekers from immigrant backgrounds (aged 18-33) with volunteer mentors over the age of 50.

**Our goal? **To promote equal opportunities in the job market, but also to value the experience of our elders and contribute to a more just and supportive society.

As an intern at DUO for a JOB, you will work under the supervision of the communications director and in close collaboration with the communications team at headquarters and in the branches. This internship will be an opportunity for you to discover how a rapidly growing association operates, explore the many facets of our mentoring program, and contribute to the integration of the young people we support!

Your main responsibilities will be as follow :

📝 Graphic design

• Graphic monitoring (typography, motion design, visual identity).
• Creation of infographics for the non-profit organization's annual report.
• Update of the 2026 brand book
• Participation in the creation of the new visual identity for DUO goodies (badges, tote bags, etc...).
• Monitor graphic design trends (typography, motion design, visual identity)

🎥 Content creation

• Assistance with film shoots and photo shoots (logistics, set design, making-of)
• Video editing for social media formats (reels, shorts), interviews, teasers, internal content
• Creation of visuals for social media

💬 Communication

• Participate in the weekly communications team meeting
• Contribute to various events related to our mentoring program
• Participate in monitoring our national communications campaign scheduled for the entire month of October 2025

• You speak French. Fluency in English and Dutch is a plus
• You have a good knowledge of social media (Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
• You know how to use Canva and CapCut; fluency in Adobe software is a plus
• You are creative, independent, thorough, and curious
• You want to get involved with an organization that has a social impact

• Internship agreement (unpaid)
• Start date and duration: February 2026 - minimum 3 months
• Position based in Brussels (Porte de Namur) with occasional travel within Belgium to our other branches
• Full-time (38 hours)
• Teleworking possible 2 days/week
• Individual computer equipment provided: MacBook
• Pro audiovisual equipment provided for filming
