DUO for a JOB was founded in Brussels in 2013 and connects young job seekers with a migration background (aged 18-33) with experienced 50+ professionals who coach them in their job search. Our goal? To increase employment opportunities for young people with a migration background, value the professional experience of 50+ mentors, and contribute to a fairer and more inclusive society.

🎯 Your missions
As a Communication & Storytelling Intern, you will work under the supervision of the Flanders Communications Officer, in close collaboration with the Belgian communications team. You will have the opportunity to tell meaningful stories, gain experience in all aspects of communication, and contribute to an organization with real social impact. Specifically, you will:
🗞️ Stories & press materials
- Interview young people and mentors and write their stories
- Assist in press materials and articles that promote DUO for a JOB in the media
- Gain insight into building a press strategy
💬 Social media & content creation
- Create posts and stories for our channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
- Contribute creative ideas for formats, visuals, and campaigns
- Help organize shoots with mentors, mentees, and colleagues
✉️ Newsletters & events
- Write texts for newsletters and invitations
- Support communications for events and campaigns
- Learn to work with planning tools and mailing platforms
😀 Your profile
- Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English (French is a plus)
- Passionate about writing, storytelling, and meeting people
- Curious, creative, and eager to learn
- Able to work with Canva and Capcut
- Interested in social themes such as inclusion, mentoring, and diversity
- Studying communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field
- Precise and independent, but also enjoys being part of a team
